1. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is one of the famous attractions in Hanoi! It is the resting place of Vietnam’s prominent leader! Guests are expected to dress appropriately when visiting this place.
2. Hoan Kiem Lake & Ngoc Son
Hoan Kiem Lake is a landmark in Hanoi known as the Turtle Lake. It is relatively small and surrounded by trees! Located in this lake is the Ngoc Son, a 19th-century temple!
3. St. Joseph’s Cathedral
St. Joseph’s Cathedral was built in 1886 with a Gothic architectural design! Though it is mottled, it is still very scenic!
4. Imperial Citadel Of Thang Long
This UNESCO World Heritage Site was once the capital of several dynasties in Vietnam. However, it suffers severe damaged in the nineteenth century by the French colonial. Ruined but still an important historical and archaeological research site in Vietnam!
5. The Perfume Pagoda
There are no perfumes in here (does it sounds ironic to you?), it is actually a beautiful temple in the mountainous surrounded by dense forests and streams. Pilgrims usually go to its cave and wish over the stalagmites and stalactites found in here!
6. Ba Vi National Park
Ba Vi National Park is Vietnam’s most famous park where you can get up close to nature’s idyllic beauty! There’s a temple in here and a nearby hot spring resort that offers accommodation!
