Having a beautiful, healthy hair is, for sure, one of every woman’s greatest dream. In fact, some are even regularly visiting a salon just to maintain the wellness of their hair. But if you truly want to achieve your dream hair, there are some “bad” habits that you should stop doing now.

1. Unconsciously pulling out hair

You may know know it but there are some girls who unconsciously pull out their hair when doing something. And this is one of the factors that destroy the beauty of your hair.

2. Teasing

Teasing is one of the process in styling hair. But little did you know, it is already damaging your hair!

3. Refusing to get a haircut

It may sound silly but getting a haircut once in a while is the best ways to grow your hair faster and healthier.

4. Combing hair repeatedly

It’s true that combing your hair can clean up the dirt attached to the hair as well as promote scalp blood circulation, BUT doing it repeatedly can hurt your hair!

5. Tying hair everyday

Tying your hair up can give refreshing feeling, especially on hot days. However, tying your hair constantly on the same spot can make hair strands weak and worse, can lead to hair loss.

6. Rubbing wet hair with towel

Girls, let’s admit it, there are times where we tend to rub our hair with towel to make it dry quickly, little did we know we’re doing it a little hard which damages the hair. If you avoid doing this thing, the right approach is to gently press dry towel unto the hair until it naturally absorb the water.

7. Applying hair care lotion to dry hair

Many of us might think that applying hair care cream and other products to dry hair can bring back  the hair’s luster, but doing so can only damage the hair even more!

8. Bathing for too long

Taking extra time when bathing can make one feel relax and refresh but what you don’t know is it can be damaging to the hair, for it washes off the oil and other nutrients.

9. Using hair dryer too close to the scalp

Using hair dryer once in awhile is not bad at all, but it is if you’re using it too close to the scalp! Proper use of hair dryer should be kept away about 15 cm distance.

10. Shampooing everyday

You might think that using shampoo everyday is good to your hair, but it’s not. Everytime you use shampoo, the natural oil that protects the hair will be damaged, making the luster to disappear. For those who have oily scalp, it is recommended to wash once every other day while those with dry hair is every 2 to 3 days.
