But this ain’t the only cafe that keeps the old flavor of Malacca because there are, in fact, many of them! This cafe which is discreetly located in a boutique in Jonker Street will surely make you feel like you’re in another world with its retro furnishing. And if there’s another reason why people visit The Daily Fix, it’s definitely because of their brunch and Banlan-flavored muffins!

2. The Peninsular Tailor Cafeteria

The Peninsular Tailor Cafe is a reopened cafe with a foreign shop-like interior design set on the busy street of Malacca. In order to maintain the atmosphere of like passing through time and space, the cafe keeps old wooden tables and chairs plus a nostalgic music playing on the background and the dim light. Truly a perfect setting for those who want to feel retro on a lazy afternoon.

On the other hand, Heesan Kopi  – 囍叁隔壁 is a cafe with a vintage atmosphere with an artistic look due to the different murals painted on the white wall! Despite the Chinese decorations, the cafe offers Western-style breakfast that you’ll definitely love!

4. The Fat Bee

Unlike the first three mentioned cafes, The Fat Bee brags a simple European and American-style cafe that can make people feel like dining in a foreign restaurant. Here, you can enjoy Western-style meals, cakes, desserts, and whatnot.

Another cafe hidden in Jonker Street where you can enjoy a greenery sight, as it is adorned with green leaves. In addition, Locahouz is a full-of-art cafe for it has numbers of paintings made by local artists hanging on the wall.
