Walking along Petaling Street is like reminiscing the good old days since it is a historic street in Kuala Lumpur that is full of nostalgia. Through the years, many cafes, backpackers hostels, hidden bars, and whatnot added a feature to Petaling Street, making it an ideal spot for a weekend getaway! One of which is the newly opened cafe with a vintage theme… Mingle Cafe, located in Jalan Sultan!

It promotes the use of second-hand and old-fashioned furniture

In order to let customers feel how it is like to be in the 60s and 70s, Mingle Cafe preserved the antique furniture and other stuff. Hence, promoting the concept of “Zero Waste”. Yes, the furniture used in the cafe is made from waste or second-hand.

You can already sense a nostalgic feeling the moment you enter the cafe as most of the materials displayed have traces of the old times.

Offers a diversity of meals from breakfast to dinner

Mingle Cafe is located upstairs of the Mingle Hostel. This won’t only make you feel at home but will also make you fall in love with the vibe!
As for food, there is a variety of meals, mainly Western-style, including pasta, pizza, burgers, smoothie bowl, coffee, and desserts. For pasta lovers, you can opt their spaghetti chicken noodle pasta or the creamy bacon pasta which are both satisfying!

Sells traditional biscuits, natural soaps, and more.

In addition to a wide range of delectable meals and drinks, Mingle Cafe also sells a variety of dishes which will make you remember your childhood. Plus, there are small products that you can purchase including natural soaps and other items with an environment-friendly concept.

So, if you’re planning to have an afternoon tea with friends, or even just with yourself (me time), consider spending it at Mingle Cafe!
