Prepare yourself for a once in a lifetime invasion at Penang! For the next 10 months, Penang will be filled with gigantic yet super adorable minions and other casts of Despicable Me 3! Grab your cameras and capture wonderful memories with our yellow mischievous little friends! You don’t have to mind if you have money or none, because the admission is FREE!
The event was funded by the government with a total cost of 900,000 ringgit!

The Penang government issued a 900.000 ringgit to build the first one in history Malaysia’s largest outdoor minion themed-park! This event is from June 23 to September 2 with the celebration of Eid al-Fitr and National Day!

To enter the themed park you need to pass a tunnel with a minions standy and other characters like Gru, Lucy, Agnes, Margo, Edith and many more! There’s also a 32-foot long minion mural made out of flowers! After your tunnel experience, you’ll be greeted by a 15-foot tall inflatable minion you can hug (it is too big to hug though) or an epic photo op! The site also has a 4,600 foot inflatable tents, ideal for people who doesn’t want to expose under the extreme heat of the sun! There are also available souvenirs and merchandise you can bring home with you!
Beanbags for a fun film viewing!
Experience an exhilarating outdoor cinema at the park! Every Friday and Saturday, from 8PM to 10PM, the outdoor lawn is filled with inflatable bean bags where you can sit and watch movie! It is advisable to carry your own food and drink to munch while watching! A new experience which you don’t need to spend a lot just to have a cozy and relaxing weekend!
