Maybe you don’t know, but Gunung Jerai, which is the highest mountain in Kedah that stands a height of 1216 feet above sea level, also has a lot of astounding places to be discovered. Not to mention it brags about having a good climate, wherein the temperature ranges from 20 to 21 degrees Celsius and when it’s the end of the year, it is only about 19 degrees Celsius.

1. Beris Lake Vineyard

A vineyard located in front of a lake overlooking the mountains, hence the name. Aside from the mesmerizing the grape plants, you can go grape picking. For those who want to taste real grape juice, it is being sold in the ticket shop.

A beautiful sight in Kedah, which is listed in the Malaysian Book of Records for being the first temple to be built from glass bottles. The emerald green and brown colors of Wat Charok Padang is from the nearly 30,000 glass bottles. This temple has become a domestic and international attraction for most tourists who visit in Kedah.
